Bexley Yoga Expands Space and Offerings

“We had so much demand that I needed to find more space,” says Amy Lee, owner of Bexley Yoga & Wellness. “I was having to turn down events because we only had the one room. The demand for kids yoga, events, massage, and the other wellness services was increasing every week.”

Since opening in 2015, Bexley Yoga has offered a variety of classes in elegant surroundings. Now with the help of her landlords, Lee has created a suite of rooms on the second floor at 2256 1/2 E. Main St. Not only is there a new yoga studio room whose windows face the lovely trees of Capital University, but there also two other rooms for massage therapy and Ayurveda or other consultations.

The additional rooms give Bexley Yoga & Wellness the ability to accommodate more events.

“We have had a lot of private party requests such as birthdays, bachelorette, bridal parties,” says Lee. “Now we are able to utilize the massage therapist for these event. We also can work together with our neighbor the Browtique. These are a lot of fun and a great way to utilize our beautiful space and services.”

“Another reason I wanted to expand was so we could offer kids classes upstairs while adult classes are happening downstairs,” she sayd. “That’s a win-win for all! We have a Sunday kids class at 10 a.m. during the Sunday 10 a.m. Flow class. The kids’ instructor takes the kids upstairs for class and brings them back down when the parents are finished with their class. Everyone loves it.”

Entry to the new space for Bexley Yoga and Wellness is at 2256 1/2 E. Main St. (between C’est Si Bon Cafe and the Main Street HER). There is also an entry from the parking behind 547 S. Drexel Ave. at the back door to the Drexel Theatre.
