Bexley Mayoral Documentary Gets DVD Release

Filmmaker and former Bexley Mayoral candidate Travis Irvine took his “American Mayor” documentary about the 2007 Bexley race to Cannes earlier this year, and has just announced that the film is getting a DVD release through Independent Media Entertainment (IME) at the end of the month. The DVD will be available for purchase online at sites including Watchime.com and Amazon.com. American Mayor is the second release from Columbus-based Overbites Pictures, Irvine’s production company, to get a DVD release, following the 2008 release of Coons! Night of the Bandits of the Night by Troma Entertainment.

Additionally, a special premiere screening of American Mayor will take place at The 83 Gallery, located at 1038 North High Street on December 27th at 8 pm. Admission is free, donations are encouraged, and the event is BYOB. Irvine himself will be in attendance.

American Mayor can also be watched online via video-on-Demand at americanmayor.watchime.com.
