The Short North Alliance (SNA) announced today the selection of Betsy Pandora as the organization’s new Executive Director. The SNA is the organization that supports and promotes businesses in the district, advocates on behalf of development issues, and celebrates the diversity of the district.

“These are exciting times for the Short North, and we’ve found a dynamic, imaginative leader to take us forward,” said Short North Alliance Board President Joel Pizzuti. “Betsy brings exactly the right combination of experiences to the position.”

Pandora is a Columbus native that has worked in the local arts and cultural sector for the past decade. She has served as the Education Outreach and Development Coordinator at the Wexner Center for the Arts, and more recently as the Healthy Places Coordinator for Columbus Public Health Department. “The Short North is an amazing place,” said Pandora. “As the district grows we will continue to be faced with amazing opportunities and a few challenges. I look forward to working with the community to continue to make this a one of a kind destination.”

Pandora will officially begin the new position on August 12.
