    Best Urban Development of 2011: The Scioto Mile

    2011 was a big year for urban development in Columbus, as we pointed out last week with our roundup of over 20 projects that defined the year. When it came time to sorting through those projects, the one that stood head and shoulders above the rest was The Scioto Mile.

    This new public greenspace opened in July and includes a renovated riverwalk, the new Milestone 229 restaurant space, a narrowed Civic Center Drive, and an upgraded Bicentennial Park that includes an interactive fountain that became one of the hottest new Downtown attractions.
