    Best Sports Team of 2011: The Columbus Clippers

    Typically, OSU Football dominates the sports landscape in Columbus, but the team suffered with a bit of an off year, to put it mildly.

    On the flip side, the Columbus Clippers had an absolutely amazing year. The team has gotten confortable in their third season playing the new Huntington Park. So comfortable in fact, that they took home the Governor’s Cup for the second year in a row, landed a spot in the national playoffs, and travelled to Albuquerque to bring home the national championship title. At the end of the year, these accomplishments netted them the number one spot in our reader survey.
