    Best Patio of 2014: Barcelona

It might sound silly, but determining the best patio in Columbus is something we’ve never included in our annual reader survey… until now. Perhaps it’s because we typically don’t think about patios much by the time December rolls around. Or perhaps it’s because we always give patios a lot of editorial love over the summer months.

Regardless of the varied excuses not to include it, we decided to go ahead and add it anyway, and our readers picked Barcelona as the number one patio in Columbus for drinking, dining and lounging. The enclosed space at the German Village restaurant is a well-vegetated getaway that instantly transports you from Columbus into another world. As long as you can get a reservation for a table during the busy summer months.
