Best Nonprofits in Columbus of 2015

Selecting a “best” nonprofit is like selecting a favorite child. They’re all amazing, and Columbus has many great charities that raise funds and awareness for a wide range of causes. Instead, we view the “Best Nonprofit” category of our annual readers survey as more of a way to showcase favorite groups and favored causes. This year, the biggest recognition goes to Pelotonia, the large local bike tour that raises money for cancer research. Pelotonia had a banner year in 2015, raising over $23 million — and bringing the grand total to over $106 million in the short seven year lifespan of the event.
