It should come as little surprise that locals enjoy The Short North. For five years straight, this vibrant retail strip has topped our list of Best Columbus Neighborhoods, as selected by our readers and voters.
2012 was a big year for The Short North, which saw the opening of many new bars, coffee shops, boutiques, galleries and more.
Most of the rest of the neighborhood list this year remained unchained. The two noteworthy mentions being Franklinton, which had a big year and jumped up two spots from #10 to #8, and Bexley, which replaced Harrison West in the Top 10, joining Grandview as the only two suburbs to make the cut.
