For our 2013 reader survey, we introduced a new category for the best theater going experience, and our readers picked the Gateway Film Center as their number one choice. Located at the South Campus Gateway near OSU, this seven-screen theater hosts a mix of hollywood fare, independent films, cult classic screenings and plenty of other special events.

The GFC will also soon be home to The Torpedo Room, a brand new restaurant concept from Elizabeth Lessner and the Columbus Food League, which will give movie goers another reason to choose this location when picking a theater for their movie-going experience.
