No matter your preference for favorite local team, 2014 was a great year for sports in Columbus. The Blue Jackets made it to the playoffs back in April. And then the Columbus Clippers made it to the semi-finals in September. And then the Columbus Crew made it to the playoffs in November. Even the OSU Men’s Tennis Team made headlines this year.
But after an exciting season of Football, Ohio State was picked by our readers as the best local sports team once again. The Buckeyes are headed to New Orleans on Thursday for the Sugar Bowl where they’ll face off against Alabama Crimson Tide.
