Best Happy Hour of 2013: Bodega

For five years straight, our readers have chosen Bodega as their favorite spot for happy hour, and with very good reason. This Short North staple features a big lineup of 50 beers on tap (with a whole lot of microbrews, seasonals and speciality beers) and they knock the price down by 50% from 4pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday. If that’s not enough to draw you in, Bodega also boasts a pretty impressive kitchen menu that goes a step above what you might expect for a bar menu, featuring smoked lobster rolls, thai tofu with quinoa and daily specials to make each visit unique.

2014 will prove interesting for this category, as we’ve heard rumblings about changes afoot at 1044 North High Street. We’ll have more details to share soon, but you may have to rediscover a new spot to get your post-work beer fix.
