Best Local Coffee Roaster of 2014: Stauf’s

For the third year in a row, our readers have picked out Stauf’s as their favorite coffee in Columbus, even as we revamped this survey question to be more specifically about local roasters and not just shops (the separate results for best coffee shop are coming later this week). 2014 was a transformative year for Stauf’s and their Cup O Joe cafe brand. Locations in the Short North, Bexley and at Easton were closed while the German Village Cup O Joe was rebranded to Stauf’s and another new location inside the North Market also opened. With local coffee aficiandos identifying so strongly with the original Stauf’s brand, the changes are likely to be a welcome one for those looking for a Stauf’s fix outside of the Grandview Avenue location.
