Ever since we introduced the “Best Cheap Eats” category to our annual reader survey, Dirty Frank’s has continued to take home the crown. 2014 marks five years running that our readers have overwhelmingly picked the hot dog joint as their favorite spot for dining on a low budget.

The biggest problem with Dirty Frank’s in the past was that the tiny Downtown location was often overly busy, with lines for tables spilling out onto the sidewalks during peak hours. That’s been less of an issue this year with the launch of the second location at 2836 West Broad Street in the Westgate neighborhood. Double the hot dog enjoyment while still keeping the tab cheap.
