Five additional brunch spots have been added to the line-up for Best Bites: Brunch on Thursday, April 14th presented by Columbus Underground and Crimson Cup Coffee. The event will take place at The Columbus Athenaeum from 6pm to 9pm, turning brunch into your new favorite dinner! Come sample items from 20 brunch menus, enjoy drinks, music and entertainment, all while raising money for charity in the process!
Whether you are an avid brunch goer or you are looking to step-up your brunch game, this is your opportunity to sample some of the best brunch menus under one roof.
New additions include: Katalina’s, Broke Johnny’s Food Truck, Taste of Belgium, Little Eater and The Chintz Room.
Advance tickets to the event are $30, which includes tasting brunch samples, enjoying coffee samples from Crimson Cup, samples of OJ from Kappus Company, and a cash bar featuring a special cocktail menu from Karate Cowboy. Tickets are already over 70 percent sold out! As always, attendees will also be able to cast their vote for their favorite brunch item of the night, and the winner will be recognized on Columbus Underground as the Best Brunch of 2016.
Previously announced restaurants include The Hills Market Downtown, Due Amici, Milestone 229, Tip Top Kitchen & Cocktails, The Table, Angry Bear Kitchen, Pistacia Vera, Sunny Street Cafe, Forno Kitchen + Bar, C’est si Bon Cafe, Hang Over Easy, Copious, The Guild House, Salt & Pine and Hubbard Grille. More details about the foods that each restaurant will be showcasing will be unveiled over the next week!
The Kappus Company will be joining us to showcase a juicer with fresh squeezed orange juice.
A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio. The Columbus Underground Best Bites event series have collectively raised over $13,000 for local charities since August 2014, with a goal of raising $20,000 for local charities in 2016.
