Arnett Howard Bringing Live Creole Funk to Best Bites: Sweet Treats

Generally speaking, Mardi Gras is not a widely-celebrated holiday in Columbus. Fans of Fat Tuesday can rest easy this year, because Columbus Underground is taking its Best Bites: Sweet Treats event to the next level on February 9th with the addition of local musician Arnett Howard to the entertainment lineup.

Howard is well known throughout the community for his energetic live shows that blend creole, cajun, zydeco and reggae in what he refers to as a “musical concoction of Motown roots and Memphis-meets-New-Orleans Rhythm and Blues”. Howard has performed over 5,000 concerts since 1985, and Columbus Underground is excited to add its signature annual dessert event to his concert lineup in 2016.

Tickets to Best Bites: Sweet Treats are now on sale, and are expected to sell out in advance. Tickets include unlimited dessert samples from 28 vendors, a chance to cast your vote on the best dessert of the night, and a cash bar featuring Crafthouse Cocktails as well as beer and wine options.
