Best Arts & Culture Institutions in Columbus of 2015

There are many opportunities for taking in arts and culture in Columbus, from indie movie theatres to art galleries to live music venues. But we find it worthwhile to highlight the largest cultural spaces that take the form of permanent museums and cultural institutions that allow access year-round to some of the city’s most profound collections of artwork and performance spaces. For the second year in a row, our readers selected the Columbus Museum of Art as their number one destination for culture in the city, and for very good reason. The CMA just completed a major renovation project in October and re-opened to the public with an expanded space showcasing more modern and contemporary art. If you haven’t been to see the new wing, it should be on your to-do list for 2016.
