Be Well Holistic Fitness Opens in Bexley
“We are a first to market, holistic wellness studio,” says Katie Marsh, president and founder, of Be Well Studio in Bexley, Ohio. In-person classes started March 22, 2021. Online classes ran several weeks while the studio space was being prepared for this week’s opening. Now, many plants, white walls, and cheerful lighting grace the space at 2262 East Main Street.
Best-selling author James Clear will be among those doing a virtual kick-off on March 23rd at 5:30 PM. The author of “Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones” will join Bexley’s mayor, Ben Kessler, 10TV anchor Molly Brewer, and Doug Ulman, CEO of Pelotonia for a celebration of the newest wellness venue in Bexley.
Along with group fitness classes, Be Well will offer other holistic programs including personal training and health coaching. Certified health coach, acupuncturist, and board member of Bexley Natural Market Co-op, Kit Yoon, says “I am thrilled to have a local wellness resource that offers various holistic health modalities to our community.”
Michelle Mineo, Kris Tann, Allie Shultz, Julia Sims-Haas, and Cassandra Brigdon among many others will be on the Be Well teaching staff along with Marsh. Yoga classes will include gentle, candlelit classes as well as power flow and yoga sculpt classes with weights. Multiple barres and mirrors were installed recently on both long walls in the studio to increase the space for the barre classes. Pilates as well as circuit and interval training will be available. All levels of students will be welcome.
