“The sun is shining, it’s a happy day,” begins the theme song for Avenue Q, the Broadway Across America production now playing at the Palace. It’s only a matter of seconds before the lyrics change direction toward dull jobs, piles of bills and more of life’s everyday frustrations, yet the musical delivers on the pure pleasure of its introduction.
