    Applications sought for Columbus Arts Festival

    The Columbus Arts Festival is accepting applications from artists to participate in the three-day event, set for June 6-8.

    About 300 national and international artists will be selected from more than 1,200 applicants for coveted positions along the streets of a new Downtown location in the Discovery District, home of the Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus State Community College, the Columbus College of Art & Design and the Thurber House.

    The deadline to apply is Jan. 9.

    Applications are available through the Greater Columbus Arts Council site at www.gcac.org/fest.
