The Pizzuti Companies announced today that national retailer Anthropologie has leased retail space in The Joseph building planned for The Short North. Nearly 9,800 square feet of space on the first and second floors of the building will be dedicated to the store.

“Anthropologie is a perfect fit for the Joseph and the Short North,” said Joel S. Pizzuti, president of The Pizzuti Companies. “Anthropologie’s presence will add an exciting new retail option in the Short North and further establish the area as the place to be in Columbus.”

The new Short North store will be the second in Central Ohio, with an existing location at Easton Town Center. Additional Ohio stores are located in Cleveland and Cincinnati.

The Joseph development is a two-building mixed-use project at High Street and Russell Street that includes a Le Méridien boutique hotel, a 313-space parking garage, 60,000 square feet of office and retail space, and the Pizzuti Collection Gallery. The project is planned for opening in 2014, with the Pizzuti Collection Gallery opening on September 7th, 2013.
