The Angry Baker Announces Third Location

One year after opening their second location, The Angry Baker is ready to expand once again. Owner Vicki Hink confirmed the new store will open in a small space at 1247 N. High St., just north of Fifth Avenue, in a spot that was most recently home to Elena’s Specialty Cakes.

“This location will be a bakery only focusing on cakes, pastries, and increasing our wholesale business,” said Hink. “It will be retail only with no seating.”

Hink also stated that this location will be co-owned by bakery manager Erin Hall, who will be running day-to-day operations.

“Our bakers have been working out of our King Avenue location and we have officially outgrown the kitchen so the time has come for them to have their own space to be able to keep up with what we already have as well as increase the volume,” added Hink.

The original Angry Baker location launched on Oak Street in Olde Towne East in 2010, and underwent a major renovation in 2014. The second location opened on King Avenue in the University District in 2016.

No opening date is set yet for the new store.
