Who doesn’t love switching things up with breakfast for dinner every once and a while? We do! That’s why Columbus Underground is bringing together Columbus’ best brunch makers at the All Things Brunch Festival on April 20.

The event will be jam-packed with food samples, experiences by local business, live entertainment and more. Plus, no brunch event would be complete without a cocktail menu. We have put together a specialty bar menu including everyone’s brunch favorites and our friends at Noble Cut Distillery will be there to put some unique twists on cocktail classics with their Apple Whiskey! While we wait impatiently for the event to get here, we thought we’d share some mouth-watering previews of what you can expect at the event. Try not to drool on your keyboard.

Uncle Giant is a local artisan baker inspired by traditions, heritage and contemporary experiences. They handcraft their baked goods in small batches with the highest quality local ingredients whenever possible. They use a balanced approach of tastes and textures so you enjoy the full flavor of all the ingredients. Guests of the festival will be delighted by two popular Uncle Giant treats: Denny Bites and Tokels. Denny Bites are somewhat between a soufflé and a brownie, light and chocolatey with dark rum soaked cranberries. Tokels are Filipino shortbread cookies, light, buttery, crispy and melts-in-your-mouth with amazing depth of flavor.

Local bake shop, Dough Mama takes Americana comforts to a whole new level. Everything in each dish, pie, pastry, is entirely made from scratch using high-quality ingredients with a focus on local sourcing whenever possible. Their Clintonville shop is continually inspiring excitement in guests with unique and surprising flavors. At the All Things Brunch Festival guests will get to sample their Salty Sweet Granola. Yum!

Established in 2017, Nate’s Steamed Bagels has been a popping up across Columbus serving delicious steamed bagel sandwiches! Owner and operator Nate has always had a deep affinity for bagels and a belief that they are the only food versatile enough to eat for every meal of the day. Using a special steaming machine that helps highlight the flavors in the whole sandwich, they promise a sandwich experience you’ll never forget. The pop-up offers a menu of eclectic options, and guests at the festival will be able to taste a few.

First Watch has been serving fresh breakfast, brunch, and lunch in Columbus for more than 20 years! Everything is made to order, and freshness is never compromised. With a rotating menu of seasonal specials, there is always something new to try. At the All Things Brunch Festival, they’ll be serving up a Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl, made with protein-packed quinoa, kale, shredded carrots and house-roasted tomatoes and topped with grilled all-natural lemon chicken breast, basil pesto sauce, feta crumbles and fresh herbs. Enjoy!

Grandview Café has been a staple of the Grandview community since 1925, going through many changes of fare and vibe, but has always remained a local gathering place. The newest installment is no different. Re-opeing its doors in 2017, Grandview Café promises new tastes, sounds, and sites to awaken your sense of happiness! Offering a tempting food and drink menu and many nods to the decades of tradition that came before. At the All Things Brunch Festival, guests will get to sample their fresh baked brioche cinnamon rolls with a cream cheese frosting.
