A&F Opens New Store Next to OSU

New Albany-based Abercrombie & Fitch officially opened its newest local store adjacent to The Ohio State University at The Gateway. The store format is a new one for the brand, reflecting a more youthful shopping experience to match the student demographic of the area.

A release from A&F refers to the store at 1614 N. High St. as a “learning lab” — as it provides the company with insight on operating smaller spaces that can double as event venues. A similar store was also launched recently at the University of Southern California.

For customers more focused on eCommerce, the new store also doubles as a location to pick up online purchases, or make in-store online orders through an interactive touchscreen that will interface with a customer’s smartphone app account.
