Adriatico’s Pizza Secures New Location in South Campus

A long time OSU institution will move just around the corner this July. Taking up residence at 1618 Neil Ave, Adriatico’s Pizza will continue their decades-long existence in South Campus.

It was announced last year that OSU would be demolishing the buildings housing Adriatico’s (265 W 11th Ave.), the University Flower Shop and a Huntington Bank branch. Shortly after, Adriatico’s released a statement implying they’d secured another location. They’ve taken over a former Aveda Institute and will close for a few days in July for repairs before reopening for business as usual.

Owner Greg Fortney said OSU has been “really good through the whole process” and that they’re ready to be able to offer more in a building twice the size. Upon reopening, their menu will include wings and a wider selection of draft beer.

“We get to stay in our same neighborhood, our same niche, and we get to improve our facility,” said Fortney, “so I think it’ll be good for our customers.”
