801 Polaris Phases in New Residents Through Construction Process

The new 270-unit development known as 801 Polaris isn’t quite finished yet, but that isn’t stopping some people from moving in. The project that we first announced in March 2013 wrapped up construction on some portions of the building back in May while continuing to complete the remaining portions of the large-scale development.

“The phases we have completed are 100% occupied already,” explained Community Curator Lauren Behrendt, who oversees the process. “We’ve gotten a ton of Chase employees due to the close proximity to their offices, and that ranges from young professionals to empty nesters. It’s probably the broadest spectrum of residents for any Kaufman Development so far.”

The phased construction process has allowed the developers to keep noise and construction debris to a minimum in closed-off sections of the building.

While 801 Polaris is located on a stretch of Polaris Parkway that most people would identify as the heart of suburbia, the building was designed with a dense, modern feel. The four-story interconnected structure features community spaces throughout, including a courtyard pool area. The building is also the only suburban apartment complex with a parking garage, consolidating much of the parking footprint of the site.

Units currently range in price and size from $695 per month for a 453 sqft studio to $1455 per month for a 1242 sqft two-bedroom apartment.
