Despite the fact that they love us, support us, listen to our whining and, in several cases, still do our laundry, we wait for that one day in the Spring to tell our mothers just how much they mean to us. This year, Mother’s Day is May 12, and for all that she does, the least you can do is splurge a little on the one woman who’ll love you no matter what. Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse
This year, spoil her a little – or a lot – by taking her to Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse in Easton Town Center, across from the mall’s central fountain. The restaurant is particularly good for special occasions like Mother’s Day, when a spring menu featuring seasonal seafood selections, premium steak cuts and spring 3-Wine Flights. Moms enjoy a glass of wine on arrival, plus a seasonally inspired salad, soup, and Italian entrees. Finish the meal out with a variety of indulgent desserts, including chocolate ice cream.

Even though we shouldn’t wait ’til the second Sunday in May to show the mothers in our lives just how much we appreciate everything they do and sacrifice for us, it is nice to have a day where it is all about her: our mother, who have always, and will always, cherish us, no matter our wrongs, rights, shortcomings, and blessings.
