FroYo Shop Relocating from Gay Street to Olde Towne East

After three years of operation, 39 Below FroYo is trading in its Gay Street address for a Parsons Avenue address. Owner Carolyn Maloney posted an update on the company’s Facebook page yesterday announcing the relocation plans that will take place over the course of this winter.

“At the end of November, 39 Below will not be renewing our lease at 39 E. Gay Street,” she stated. “39 Below will be moving on to our new home on Parsons and Oak in Olde Town East, and we are shooting to be open by early spring.”

While the main focus of the shop centered on self-serve frozen yogurt, 39 Below has slowly grown its offerings to include breakfast sandwiches, hot chocolate, coffee, and other items to serve the Downtown workforce crowd.

“From coming up with the name 39 Below, to helping us decide on uniquely 39 Below flavors and toppings, to coming up with the ideas for breakfast and grilled cheese to survive the winters, to student projects and promotions, to the new artwork on our walls every month, it has been a collective effort between my team and my neighbors to make 39 Below the best frozen yogurt shop in all of Columbus,” said Maloney. “That is why it was so hard for 39 Below to make the decision that it is time for us to move on.”
