Upper Arlington-based Vision Development, which is currently constructing Chesapeake Park Apartments off of Northwest Boulevard, has also recently broken ground on a new 228-unit apartment complex near Tuttle Mall.

The $23 million project, to be called The District Apartments, will offer a mix of apartments, carriage houses and townhouses ranging from 720 to 1,700 square feet. Prices for the units, which will be available as one-, two-, or three-bedrooms, will start at $930.

On-site amenities will include a pool, outdoor kitchen/dining area and fitness center.

The complex will sit on 14 acres at the south end of Edwards Farm Road; between Hayden Run and Davidson Roads and just east of I-270. Vision plans to start pre-leasing in August of this year, with the goal of completing construction by summer of 2014.
