This Saturday welcomes the return of some outdoor Farmers Markets in the city. In case you haven’t heard, a farmers market is starting again in Dublin, and will be located at Bridge Park. A new Saturday market is coming to Westerville. A makers market starts in German Village. Also, this season’s Pearl Market is relocating to the Ohio Statehouse grounds.

This year, I’m trying out a CSA from the Yellowbird Foodshed. The delivery was close (Hills Market Downtown) and the price was right for a base box ($30). The Peach Truck is going to be making two stops at Weiland’s Market this year (as well as a few other stops around the city), June 30 and July 21, bringing their Georgia fresh peaches to Columbus.

If you don’t grow your own food or already support a CSA, local Farmers Markets give you a chance to get some of the best home grown food around. Here’s an updated 2018 list for you to get the best produce grown here in Columbus and our surrounding areas. Enjoy supporting your local farmers while feasting on the freshest foods!
