Columbus-based Rise Brands announced this afternoon plans to open a sixth 16-Bit Bar+Arcade location, and second in Central Ohio, with the addition of a Bridge Park location in Dublin. The move follows closely in the footsteps of the Bridge Park opening of PINS Mechanical Co. — the pinball and duckpin bowling entertainment concept also developed by Rise Brands.

“Dublin has been exceptionally welcoming to our Pins Mechanical Co concept, opening a 16-Bit next to Pins will provide a full entertainment experience in Bridge Park” stated Rise Brands owner Troy Allen. “Bridge Park has delivered on all our expectations, the energy throughout the development has been amazing. So much so, that we’ll be thrilled to unveil our new QSR (Quick Serve Restaurant) concept later in 2018 right between our Pins and 16-Bit locations in Bridge Park.”

The original 16-Bit opened in Downtown Columbus in late 2013, with expansions in Lakewood (Cleveland) and Over-the-Rhine (Cincinnati) that have followed. Rise Brands is already working on the construction of 16-Bit locations in Nashville and Indianapolis, with a third PINS Mechanical slated to also open in Over-The-Rhine this summer.

The Dublin 16-Bit location will measure 7,300 square feet in size, bringing 40 classic arcade cabinets to the Bridge Park community, a full bar, and an updated design to feature more casual soft seating areas and spaces for console gaming as well.

16-Bit is expected to open at Bridge Park in late summer 2018.
