    16-Bit Bar+Arcade Adding a Patio

While the 16-Bit Bar+Arcade is growing into the Cleveland market this summer, Columbus gamers won’t go ignored. The South Fourth Street venue will receive a nice update in the form of a sidewalk patio addition to complement others located at Little Palace and El Camino on the block.

“We’ve got heated space outside right now for our smokers, but the addition of a patio will allow people to take drinks outside and allow for some overflow on busy nights,” says 16-Bit owner Troy Allen. “Some of our windows will also open up accordion-style on nicer days.”

Additionally, Allen says that they’re about to “reset the floor” to shuffle a few games around and add in a few new cabinets, such as Dragons Lair — the groundbreaking laserdisc-driven interactive cartoon game from 1983.

“We also finally got our hands on a Marble Madness cabinet in mint condition,” he says. “That’s always been one of my favorites.”
