Columbus-based gastropub 101 Beer Kitchen will be opening the doors of a new Westerville restaurant this summer.
101 Beer Kitchen, which has additional locations in Dublin and Gahanna, focuses on scratch-made American gastropub fare and a wide range of craft beers. Children’s meals are served on a traditional cafeteria-style tray.
The restaurant, located at 817 Polaris Parkway, will seat 165 in a spacious interior, with an additional 30 seats on an adjacent covered patio. The design will be similar to the other 101 beer kitchen locations – simple and rustic, with pared-down wooden tables and exposed brick walls. Their corner unit will be next door to Fresh Thyme Farmer’s Market.
The owners of the new location are excited to give Westerville a modern take on sophisticated back-to-basics cuisine.
“We want to support our community and be an addition the residents can bring their out-of-town guests, clients and families to – an addition they are proud of,” said Co-Owner Jessica Kittrell.
The menu will change seasonally. Guests will be able to find 101 Beer Kitchen favorites, like house-made tater tots and beer cheese soup, on the menu alongside a rotating tap selection.
