After five years, Zauber brand owner Geoff Towne has sold the brewpub on Fifth Avenue and is planning new ventures, and beers, under the Zauber name. The space will reopen later this month for the grand opening of Endeavor Brewing Company.
The building and beer selection at 909 W. Fifth Ave. got a makeover, reflecting the founders’ global inspirations. Described as comfortable with an adventurous feel, the location is “ideal for the perfect pint, conversation and a competitive soccer match.” Their signature brews, produced using grains and hops from four continents, include a Pilsner, a New World IPA, a Belgian Witbier, a Nitro English Mild, a Belgian Tripel and a small batch Barrel Aged Pilsner.
“Our brewery is inspired by our team’s unique travel and cultural experiences” said Oliver Convertini, Marketing Coordinator for Endeavor, in a press release. “We draw upon these experiences for inspiration, and we believe our beer reflects this distinct viewpoint.”
Endeavor will also have some other guest brews on tap, from Zauber, Mad Moon, Madtree, Land Grant and New Holland.
Guests will still have access to food trucks to help soak up all the beer. Although no specific trucks were mentioned, “many of the best food trucks in the region will offer globally-inspired, diverse food menus thoughtfully paired with the range of beers on tap,” according to the release.
Endeavor Brewing Company will open on Saturday, September 23. A block party will take place the following weekend, on Saturday, September 30. It’ll feature food trucks and live music.
Once open, Endeavor will operate on Monday through Thursday, from 3 to 11 p.m., Friday from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
