The second World of Beer location in Columbus is opening next week at Easton Town Center, complimenting their thriving Brewery District location near Downtown. The new 2,900 square foot venue promises a familiar experience where everyone from beer aficionados to casual fans can enjoy a wide selection of brews.
Similar to the Brewery District location, World of Beer Easton will feature over 500 types of bottled beer and 50 different beers on tap. And staff is expected to have a fast knowledge on the subject of beer following intensive training courses.
“The expectation is that each beer is served in the proper glassware, and that our staff is prepared to discuss and educate every customer about the beer in their hand,” said General Manager Tom Sweeney Jr.
The new location will feature a larger “beer garden” style patio that will be fully enclosed during the colder months. Four garage doors along the front and side of the building are able to open up to connect the venue to the patio and to passers by on the street. Additionally, the new Easton bar will feature live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Food at World of Beer is available through a delivery arrangement with Easton restaurants including Flip Side, Donatos, McCormick & Schmick’s, Max & Erma’s and Jimmy John’s.
World of Beer Easton opens their doors on Monday, November 12th at noon.
