Olivera Bratich opened Wholly Craft to provide Columbus with an outpost for the growing, worldwide DIY crafting movement.

  • Tried to stop by today, but they don’t open until 1 pm.

Kind of annoying when you want to do the whole urban shopping thing tied to the farmer’s markets. Feh.

    A.

  • Stopped in today around 3 pm. Very nice new space, lots more room, needs air conditioning though. I commented how I’ve always wondered how the mystic crystal shop that was in the space before managed to survive as long as it did.

    Ah! That’s where this is!

Anne & I took dance lessons at Rawlins right near by for about a year, and I often wondered about the crystal store as we walked by it every week.

  • I didn’t realize that ballroom dancing was something exclusive to suburban living? :?

We took them in preparation for our wedding last year, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone getting married who doesn’t want to look like they’re still doing the awkward high-school prom back-and-forth sway. Not to mention that a year’s worth of group lessons at Rawlins cost just a hair more than 5 private lessons at Fred Astaire!
