Whit’s Frozen Custard Opens in Clintonville

You’ve only got five days of summer left in the calendar year, which means there’s no time like the present to get out there and partake in some frozen treats. The latest entry to the dessert business lineup is the new Whit’s Frozen Custard location that opens today at 3339 North High Street in Clintonville.

“We will open at 11am and are having free face painting and balloon sculpting from noon to 2pm,” stated Chad Wells, Proprietor of the new Clintonville location as well as the Short North location that opened in 2012.

After being launched by Chuck Whitman in Granville in 2003, Whit’s has rapidly expanded through franchising to include over 30 locations across Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida. The Clintonville store is number 34, with future stores still planned in Mansfield, Buckeye Lake, Jacksonville Florida and beyond.

Whit’s serves frozen custard in a variety of styles (cones, sundaes, shakes, etc) in both Vanilla and Chocolate flavors with a rotating Flavor of the Week, which is currently Butter Pecan.
