    Poll: What Does “Local” Mean to You?

    It’s not uncommon for Columbus entrepreneurs to have more than one business, restaurant or retail store. Individuals, partners and groups are known to employ a variety of restaurant or retail concepts or open multiple locations of existing concepts.

    With Columbusites opening venues around the city that offer local, national and foreign goods and expanding their businesses to multiple locations both in and outside the city, the distinction between what’s local and what’s not can get muddied. An increasing number of national chain stores and restaurants also offering a selection of local products and foods to appeal to customers.

    To help clear things up, Columbus Underground is conducting a poll to see what factors matter most to Columbus customers when choosing what they consider a ‘local’ or ‘small’ business.
