The front of the modern home furnishings store is full of bright, lemon-yellow throw pillows and seaside-inspired blue glass vases. They’re colors you’ll also see down the way at Easton’s trendy fashion boutiques.

I stopped in yesterday. Nice store, a little smaller than the Cincinatti location.

Yeah, I jumped ship with this one over to Other News in a dual attempt to not derail this thread and be heard.

I like some stuff in West elm, but most is too modern for me. It’s hard to buy just one item and have it go with the rest of your house. Plus it’s even more $$ than pottrey barn (yes I know they are the same company).

I would rather support my friends at Bustown Modern who sell the original versions for hundreds instead of thousands.

I’ve been meaning to go to their location. Would they be interested in hosting a CU “swarming”?

    :D

I think they would actually. I feel like one of them has posted on here a few times, but I may be wrong. I think their aesthetic is pretty similar to what a lot of people on here are looking for. I would be happy to get in touch with them and see if they would want to host a shopping event.

Cool. Just let me know what they say, or tell them to shoot me an email and we’ll figure out a date. :D

When are we ever going to do that Tigertree meetup? ;)

I did. Wood furniture was poorly constructed. High gloss finishes that scratch easily (already scratched on their new showroom floor)…

They are giving away a $2000 shopping spree. The odds may be great of winning it since the store was pretty much empty yesterday
