Watershed Distillery has seen a steady stream of growth since their December launch in 2010. Owners Dave Rigo and Greg Lehman have added Bourbon and Bourbon-Barrel Gin to their product lineup, and they’re ready to grow their reach in 2014 through a new partnership with Heidelberg Distributing.
“For us, partnering with Heidelberg was the perfect next step,” says Rigo. “They are the largest distributor of beer, wine, and spirits in the Midwest – it’s their wheelhouse. Not only do they understand our goals, our mission, and how to best share the Watershed story, Heidelberg respects how we operate and where we see ourselves going in the future. It’s an exciting venture for us to be working with and supporting another Ohio-based company and we’re looking forward to new successes going forward.”
Watershed has already doubled its staff, facility size and production capacity since it first opened. The new partnership with Heidelberg takes effect on February 1st.
