Transportation advocacy group Transit Columbus began soliciting entries last October for their transit map contest and the four semi-finalists have been selected for the final round of online voting. The contest focused on re-imagining current transportation networks rather than creating new ideas for the future.
“The goal of the initiative is to call attention to the many different ways to get around Columbus without a car,” said Transit Columbus Chair Elissa Schneider. “The finalists are all really creative and look differently at the ways we navigate the city. It’s exciting to see how members of the Columbus Community re-imagine current maps.”
Voting runs through April 1st and participants can cast one vote per day. The winner will receive a $2,000 cast prize.
