Calling Enthusiastic Volunteers
If you enjoy creating an awesome experience and sharing it with your city, then you’ve got the first ingredient to be a volunteer for HighBall Halloween on Friday, October 31st. If you have some hours to help behind the scenes by serving on committees or by setting up the day of the event, then you have the second ingredient.
The HighBall is a cross between Carnivale and Mardi Gras with a pinch of Halloween and a healthy splash of the Short North’s artistic spirit. The evening’s festivities will include Outrageous Costume Contests (all entries are welcome!), a Couture Costume Fashion Showdown for fashion professionals, the Dogtober Howloween Procession for costume-crazed pet owners, live bands, the city’s hottest DJs, and $5,000 in prizes!

I am down for something here, but I need to wait until we get Alec’s trick-or-treat sorted out.
Your list does lack the essential Hooker Quality Control duty. I will undertake this regardless of public credit though.
Seriously, this event looks awesome and everyone should try to give a couple hours of their time on the front or back. Which is why I am adding to this thread.
Just do it!
A.
I think I’m already volunteered as “model assistant”

Due to size alone, it’ll be a mammoth feat — both in terms of logistics and civic pride, engagement-wise.
Best model assistant EVER.
I’m so jazzed, I signed up for the 7-10 play wit’ da trash :) and I get to work with one of my favorite people on the planet (when she’s not directing comfest vendors during setup, hehe) Candi Watkins W00T!
I’ll be there at night to help with cleanup and tear down.
Hope to see some of you then! :D
Just a few more volunteers are needed – we’d love your help. You can even come in costume, or not!
With the weather tomorrow reaching 70 degrees, we could see 12,000- 15,000 people. Youre help is wanted. (and I might be able to score you some free ice cream)
