Any shoppers familiar with Vernacular will know they carry a small inventory of decor pieces, stationary and apothecary products in their clothing stores. They’ve now expanded that inventory, and given it its own home at Vernacular Home, which celebrated its grand opening earlier this month.
Located at 1310 Grandview Ave., Vernacular Home is just down the road from Vernacular Grandview and occupies the space once claimed by Objects, which closed last summer. It’ll carry more of the items found in other Vernacular stores, as well as vintage and new furniture, larger-scale home decor pieces, art, textiles, and kitchen accessories.
“After closing Objects in the summer of 2016, we took some time to expand the Vernacular apparel brand; we opened in Atlanta this past spring, Dallas will be next month, and Cleveland will be opening in spring of 2018,” said Vernacular owner Chelsea Konieczko. “We’re excited to now open a home store under the Vernacular umbrella and think everyone else will be as well.”
