Cafe Shish Kebab represents the latest in a string of Turkish restaurants that began with Cafe Istanbul, where owner Fatih Gunal was the opening chef.
At his new venture, Gunal transformed the modest space formerly occupied by the shortlived Ali Baba Middle Eastern eatery into a white-tablecloth restaurant.
