Zanzibar is closer with better service, food variety and nicer staff. We weren’t made to feel particularly welcome at the Urban so, unfortunately, we won’t be going back or sending our friends. :/

Finally had a chance to stop by today. Great place.

They scored huge points from me by not pouring what was left of the one pot and topping off with new. I’ve had a few places do that.

More points for the bike rack around the side. I would definitely come back. Easy 10 minute walk from CSCC for those long breaks between classes.

Congratulations Charity! My girlfriend and I were wathcing her segment on Community Tapestry the othe night and felt a great sense of pride and connection to the area.

I like both shops, but Urban Spirit definitely has more of a cozy feel to it. Charity was really welcoming and friendly the first time I went there.

I also try to split my time between both Zanzibar and Urban Spirit because I want to see them both do well. Zanzibar is a closer walk for me, but Urban Spirit is much more “comfy”. :D

I try and alternate between here and Zanzibar whenever I’m in that part of town, but the latter’s always closer. I like Urban Spirit, though, so I’ll try and go there a little more ’cause I wanna see it do well.
