Columbus Underground is excited to announce the fourth annual Urban Living Tour, an event featuring urban living options and opportunities in Downtown Columbus and its surrounding neighborhoods. The Urban Living Tour has grown rapidly over its first three years, with over a thousand participants collectively. It returns this year on Sunday, May 7th from 9am to 5pm.
This year’s tour continues showcases much of what it means to have an urban lifestyle with various residential options and amenities to tour. The Columbus region has been growing rapidly with Franklin county just became the largest county in the state. Annually 20,000 people are moving to the area and there continues to be new and exciting residential options announced regularly.
The tour is an exciting way to see many of the new and updated places to live in the city. Whether you are new to Columbus, looking for a new spot to call home or simply interested in the rapid urban development happening in our city the Urban Living Tour is a way to see many unique and interesting spots all in one day. With over a dozen stops featuring various residential and mixed use buildings in different stages of completeness, tour goers will have be given an exclusive opportunity to learn more about Columbus’s growing urban living options.
Residential tour stops announced today include Trotters Park, Vetro Lofts, The Diplomat, The Barrett School, The Julian, The Citizens Building, The Meridian, LC Riversouth Annex East and Annex West, The Homes at Pullman Way, Jeffery Park, Harrison Park, The View on Fifth, 223 E. Town and the Yard Club. We will also have Heartland Bank on site to answer any questions you may have about financing a move or new place to call home. Additional tour stops will be announced prior to the May 7th Tour event.
Tickets to the tour are $20 in advance, or $25 day-of at one of the tour’s starting locations. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to Faith Mission and their programs to help the homeless and others in need.
