The National Bicycle Dealers Association announced their top bike shops for 2013, and Trek Bicycle Stores of Columbus was recognized as one of only 170 shops across the US to receive this distinction. There are approximately 4,000 bike shops in the US, putting them in the top five percent with this award. Trek of Columbus was the only Columbus store to win this award, and only one of nine in the state of Ohio.

“For nine years in a row we have been recognized by Trek for being a top dealer, have been given awards by the League of American Bicyclists, and now are so proud to be recognized by the National Bicycle Dealers Association,” said Chris Bishop, owner of the local Trek stores. “Thanks to all our customers that allow us to continue growing the Columbus market.”

Trek of Columbus has three Central Ohio locations: Westerville, Dublin and Lane Avenue. The Lane Avenue store is also home to Backroom Coffee Roasters, which features bike-powered delivery.
