Treat to Try: La Chatelaine’s signature cake

In the mood for some chocolate cake? If you are, you will probably want to avoid La Chatelaine’s Lane Avenue store because of the OSU game today, but good news, because they have other locations! I tried their signature cake and it was really good. Four inches long, two inches wide and an inch and a half tall, this cake is 8 layers of yum. Three layers of “homemade chocolate mousse,” three layers of “genoise chocolate sponge cake” and thin layers of “Belgian chocolate ganache” on the top and the bottom. Topped with a white chocolate L.  A slice will run you $4.25 and it’s also available as a full cake. If you like chocolate, you should try it!
