It has a pretty arrangement of roasted pepitas on top to give it an extra crunch. The pumpkin flavor is very light, it’s more about the spices. They’re not overpowering, everything is in delicate balance in this dessert. Thin layers or creamy buttercream and mousse make it extra smooth. It’s nice and high, and a perfect size to share for Sweetest Day (if you hurry and get to the German Village location before 7pm tonight!).  A mini version will set you back $6.

Visit Pistacia Vera in German Village at 541 S. Third St., Columbus, Ohio 43206. Also in the North Market. For more information visit PistaciaVera.com.
