I just went there for my first time. I love the decor which definitely is signatory Lessner style and the service was really good. I must have to say their sweet potato fries are to die for.

^ Yeah, we went twice last week and my wife got the monte cristo...loved it. I only got one bite!

My favorite sammich to date is the roast beef, caramalized onion marmalade, and provolone with a side of au jus for dipping.

I went here for the first time today and had a Monte Cristo and a beer.

It was delicious. The service was a little slow, but it was completely packed in there, so that's pretty excusable.

Man, that sandwich was really really good.

I love the dark wood & chandeliers and such -- the inside of Tip Top looks great -- but the whole "let's show a lot of old-timey pictures of Columbus and/or Ohio" is HARDLY new - practically every pub, "americana" chain and family restaurant in Columbus has old local photos & memorabilia stapled to the walls... it's such an overdone gimmick.

I went to TIP TOP last night and really liked the Columbus-centric decor and menu. I got some shoe sring fries that were awesome and crispy and a tasty side of spicy mayo too, but they were $5 bucks! There french fries for pete's sake. Yeah there is also $1 off for bike riders on PBR. Nice patio with cool looking downtown buildings. I am going back again for sure.

Yeah, I'd say walking or biking (depending on where you live) is your best bet, with the bus being a good option as well.

If you must drive though, there's plenty of free meter parking available withing a two block radius if you know where to look. 8)
