    Outdoor movie season is here! Here’s your guide to outdoor movies in Columbus and surrounding areas. This summer’s favorite picks have animals on the bring screen with features like Finding Dory, The Secret Life of Pets, and Sing. Disney’s Polynesian fantasy-adventure, Moana. Jurassic Park and Jurassic World show up a couple of times. Movies on the Mile are taking a break for 2017. University District Gateway is starting a free From Book to Film Series outside in the Gateway Plaza this year.

    For kids, don’t miss The Drexel Kid Fest in June and July. Also, don’t forget CAPA’s Summer Movies which plays a great assortment of classic films at the Ohio Theatre, and this year featuring titles such as Beetlejuice and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

    As always, if you want a more traditional Drive-In, head to the South Drive-in Theater at 3050 South High. Admission is $9.50 for ages 12 and older on Friday and Saturday nights, $7.50 Sundays thru Thursdays, $2 for ages 5 to 11 every night, and ages 4 and under are free every night. Movies usually change on Fridays.
